At Lift Society, we believe that strength training is the foundation for confidence, resilience, and long-term health. As a premier strength training gym with locations in Hollywood, Santa Monica, Studio City, and Culver City, we specialize in strength training and fat loss, providing expert coaching in a semi-private, small-group environment designed to help you get stronger, healthier, and more confident.

About Dylan Davies

Founded in 2016 by female co-founder and accidental entrepreneur, LIFT Society is built on years of resilience, obsession, and perseverance. Proving her abilities from her background in corporate fitness, Dylan was given a small loan from a client with just enough money to make it through the first three months of business. In 2015, a ``LIFT`` class was introduced to the boutique gym's schedule, and quickly sold out every week. A year later, the first LIFT Society was launched in Hollywood, Los Angeles, with a second location in 2019. LIFT Society proved itself again in 2020 while surviving the Covid lockdowns and opening two more locations upon reopening in 2022. Dylan started strength training after her first pregnancy, and is a mom of two tweens. She has met all of her closest friends through LIFT Society and has experienced first-hand the power of training together and having a strong community. Dylan is a supporter of everyone who wants to improve the quality of their life through strength training, and loves to see members break through plateaus and realize their own strength- both mental and physical.

The Program

Our semi-private lifting sessions will push you to new levels of strength. Using progressive overload, evidence-based programming, and structured 4-week training cycles, we ensure steady and measurable progress. Each class is led by expert coaches specializing in strength and hypertrophy training, providing personalized guidance in a small-group setting (8-12 people per session). You'll get the individualized attention of personal training—including form correction, weight progression, and technique refinement—while being surrounded by a motivating community of lifters who share your dedication to strength. At Lift Society in Hollywood, Santa Monica, Studio City, and Culver City, you’ll never wait for equipment—just enjoy good vibes, expert coaching, and serious gains.

At LIFT Society we value personal space, cleanliness, and never waiting around for equipment. Every client has their own squat rack, barbell, and weights to use during their training session. Equipment is never shared, and is always sanitized.
